Hello everyone here is Rav Deol founder of RJ Boxing S & C performing a heavy deadlift to failure. Is not recommended but is ok end of a mesocycle is ok in my opinion to really test your 1 rep max but with food form which is a 4-6 week training block where you gradually progressively overload. This means adding more intensity gradually over the training block and adding reps or weight but not to much weight as we dont want to perform with bad form. The reason for this as we want to minimize risk of injury.
